Please Help Our TNKid & Our Doc Support Orange County Ronald McDonald House

Each year, Orange County Ronald McDonald House (OCRMH) holds a Walk for Kids to help support the families of seriously ill children who come to OCRMH  in the toughest times of life.  A very large number of our TNKids and their families have cycled through OCRMH when going to see Dr. Mark Linskey at University of California Irvine Medical Center, because he has performed more MVDs on TNKids than anyone else in the world.

The OCRMH is very near and dear to our hearts, and we are very thankful for how welcoming they have been to our families.  I cannot tell you what it means to wake up in the middle of the night at OCRMH, and be able to raid the cupboards when the child who hasn’t had any interest in eating is finally hungry.  Or to have a safe, clean, and helpful place for a child with 24 staples down the side of her head to walk the laps she is supposed to be walking each hour.  Or a home away from home that understand you just need to get your child out for a bit, but she’s not walking well yet – so they pull a wheelchair out and help you load it into your trunk.  Plus they have a laundry, and meals made for you most nights, and other families who just get what it is to walk a hard road with your child.  And all of this is done for a nominal nightly fee that is waived, no questions asked, if all you are doing for your child has left the bank accounts depleted.  We love OCRMH.  So.  Very.  Much.

Our own Dr. Mark Linskey & Chris Nolze

This year, one of our kids, Chris Nolze, and our Dr. Linskey have joined forces to participate in the OCRMH Walk for Kids – and we are asking for your help getting them to their fundraising goal and farther!

Please consider donating!  Any amount helps and makes a difference for one of the amazing kids that come through the house each year.
